|This extensive pattern is based on the sleeveless pullover worn by Alex Langlands in BBC TV's Wartime Farm series. The pattern contains a combination of written and charted instructions to knit this garment. It includes instructions for a wide range of sizes to fit children, men and women. The pullover is knitted in one piece up to the underarm and then is divided and the front and back are knitted back and forth separately. It is knitted using stranded Fair Isle technique.
The pattern has been created to raise funds for the Women's Land Army Tribute Campaign which is raising funds to build a memorial to the Women's Land Army. You can read about the campaign on their website www.womenslandarmytribute.co.uk
